App data
PhraseCut is designed to keep your study data on your device. Saved items, review data, and app settings are stored locally unless you export them yourself.
Personal information
You do not need to create an account to use the app. We do not directly collect your name, address, or similar personal profile information through the app.
Analytics and tracking
This website does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and the app does not build advertising profiles about you.
Exports and user actions
If you export your library to CSV or Anki-compatible files, that action is initiated by you. The resulting file is handled by the destination you choose.

Online sentence learning
When you analyze a sentence on this website, its text and selected languages are sent from your browser to Google Translate. If a direct network connection fails, our Cloudflare Worker may relay the request. Google handles these requests under its own privacy policy. We do not write the text or results to a database or keep a study history. Google and Cloudflare process network information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect their services. IP addresses are used for temporary rate limiting. Export files are created in your browser. Pronunciation uses your browser or operating system's voices and may use the voice provider's online service. Avoid submitting personal or sensitive information.
